Two remaining issues on my 94 cde have me scratching my head.
First the blower motor does not blow air. I removed it twice. Sunday it took two hours to remove it. Tested it. Found it working and installed it. Today I removed the fan speed control so I can see the blower motor. Found it motionless. Removed it again. Tested it. Again found it working. If nothing else. It honed my skill of removing the blower motor. I can now do it in 45 minutes, removal and install. But sitting in the driver seat, I couldn't feel air blowing no matter what I try. The ACC was recalibrated. But no blower. Why is it when I remove the blower motor to test it it ran and when I install it it doesn't? And when I press the buttons on the ACC does the lever move? Mine doesn't. I can hear the motor hum when I switch from side vent to bottom vent, for example. But the lever doesn't move. I have the dash top removed by the way.
Next the headlight. Driver side high beam doesn't work. Wasted $10 to get a new bulb only to find the old bulb was good. Replaced the lamp control relay and headlight relay in succession to no avail. BTW, having three 9k's in same or close model year makes testing defective parts so much easier. I have two 94's and a 95.
What gives?
