Yes, it can be done. However, the seats are not exactly symetrical so that you can see about 1 1/2 inches of foam peeking out down by the seatback on the door side. I cut back the foam, but I still notice it. Try to find a driver's side cushion if you can.
With seatback covers the issue is the lumbar support hole. You have to patch the hole on one side and cut out the hole on the other.
