Hi, I can tell you from recent experience that it is most likely the lower hydraulic motor mounts. My '90 turbo auto with 218,000 km. recently had the AT rebuilt as it had begun slipping between gears at inconveniant moments and always on the 4-3 downshift. Was driving allright until then. It gave me lots of warning of impending doom and time to decide whether to bother.It is very smooth and responsive now.There is still a vibration felt in gear,brakes applied. I have found an obviously failed front lower engine mount and will replace it later this week. I drove several new cars before repairing the transmission on mine and really didn't find any thing to meet the versatility, safety, and fun of driving a 9000. Except a newer 9k of course,but they are hard to find on Vancouver Island.
