Eeuro wants $329.50 for a T5 DI... Posted by turrbo [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Will a T7 DI really fit a 93 cse?, cse93turbo, Mon, 30 May 2005 17:19:10 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
But thats still unusual for a T7 to be cheaper. Maybe its a sale or something.
Yes it should fit right on and function, but it seems that the T5 ones last longer and fail in a more predictable manner than the T7 ones. Most T7 ones fail instantaneously and kill the engine, wherever and whenever, but T5 ones cause a CEL and misfire for a few days before crapping out. This may or may not be the fault of the DI itself or the Trionic 7 system.
I'd spend the extra 20 bucks and get the part that was designed, engineered and tested for your car. Thats just my $.02.
