But it CAN help to reduce spool-up time and hold your peak boost longer.

Just installed Jeff Stewart's part on my car. I'm in Atlanta, and my '93 Aero is the test mule.

As for setting up the MBC+A, you've got it:

-- Start with the Anticipator dialed out (knob turned counter-clockwise as far as it will go).

-- Start with the MBC adjusted more toward max boost (fewer threads showing).

-- Test car in all gears, and for your first run, ease into the throttle. You'll likely hit fuel cutoff, mainly from third gear on. Try all sort of throttle conditions, including EASING into the throttle in fourth and fifth gear (I found that I thought I'd had the perfect setting, only to find I'd hit fuel cutoff in fifth, when easing into the throttle).

-- Once you think you've got the MBC where you like it, ease the Anticipator on -- about a quarter-turn/rotation of its setting knob at a time.

-- If you find max boost has gone down slightly, try increasing the MBC setting.

Don't worry -- you'll find a setting that works for you. Tweak and adjust for a while.

Also, be sure to bring some gloves when doing your tweak runs -- the MBC gets hot!

So far, I've been please with the MBC+A. It's given me faster spool-up and it seems to enable me to hold max boost longer/into higher rev range. If nothing else, I THINK the car feels quicker.

Good luck!
