mesh spoiler and JT intake complete..pics...

I just got done installing a mesh screen in the front spoiler of my 93 Aero. The spoiler was in rough shape, with cracks and chipped paint. I repainted it metallic charcoal to match the wheels.
I used a piece of "gutter guard" from Home Depot, size 6"x 36" for the mesh. I then worked and trimmed it to fit the opening (pain in the butt!), then fastened it with self tapping sheetmetal screws from the back.
I sanded off all of the old paint, fiberglass patched the cracks, and then put 4 coats of paint and 2 coats of clear on the spoiler, wetsanding after the last coat of paint w/ 1500 grit.
Let me tell you, this took about a week to do, and it was a dirty, smelly, ugly job. I'm not sure I would do it again. I think it looks decent though, much better than before.
The JT intake was much smoother. Since I had the spoiler off, it was easy to remove the old intake. The JT tube slides right in, then I used a 1/2 bolt and nut I had laying around to fasten the intake to one of the old mouting holes for the stock box. Total time was about 20 minutes.
