Ok here is the situation. Just replaced the headgasket. FOund the head warped so that was replaced aswell. The oil was like a milk shake and coolant resivoir was empty, and combustion gases where filling the cooling system. Got it all back together with new bolts. Started it up and obviously engine smoked bad, exhaust full of coolant. Still let it warm to operating temp then shut off. Noted coolant hoses weren't rock hard like before just notmal pump pressure. Let the car sit overnight. Next day let car warm up in driveway while I double checked everything, smoking has now gone away, drove car 5 miles and let idle again upon return, ran mint so far. Left for a few hours and came home, decided to go for a spin to check things out. Well... During the drive noted exhaust smoking badly, smells like coolant, and note slight miss at idle, seems to boost and drive fine. Get the car home and find car smoking at idle still. Checked the res and doesn't seem to have gone down, but I know it has to be burning coolant. Checked the hoses and are at normal pressure. Pulled the plugs all look the same. Anyways, on to the question can the turbo cause a coolant burning concern? I wanted to give as much info as possible sorry to be so long winded. Hopefully one of you guys has run across a problem like this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Mike
