All of the components I have tested so far are ok: (93 CSET)
Static pressure in system is 6.5 bar (a little low, but enough to start the compressor)
Direct jump to the A/C clutch starts clutch, and cools inside car appropriately
(indicates that the ACC flap controllers are working)
ACC pin #23 putting out voltage.
Frost switch is closed.
Pressure switch is closed on low side, and open on hi side (normal function at startup, switch M closes when pressure exceeds 11 bar to turn on cooling fan)
Hi pressure switch in the condenser (that controls hi speed cooling fan) is open (normal function)
AC relay energizes and closes appropriately (its brand new).
Fuses are all intact.
Aux fan runs appropriately when powered directly.
Regular cooling fans run appropriately when powered directly or by the coolant temperature switch system.
Problem: The blue wire to the ac compressor does NOT get power. Possible solutions: 1)Pin TK is grounded by the throttle body
2) Blue wire is grounded or broken along its path
3) TCS computer is sensing fault or LHM. (Car is running great and not in LHM)
Questions:
Where does that blue wire originate from? TCS brain? Where can I check it to see if it is getting power at its origin? IE what pin # in what location?
How do I check to see if pin TK in the ac relay is grounded? Specifically, which is pin TK?
This would indicate that the electronic throttle body is telling the computer that car is operating under full throttle *all the time* and will cut out ac compressor and aux cooling fan to maximize hp to the wheels.
Thanks in advance.
Patrick
