So--I posted a few weeks ago about the mixer flap in my sister's 93 Aero. She took it to the dealer (which I called a stealer) and they told her it needed a new airbox and the heater core was likely to go in a few weeks. They quoted about $800 for the pair.

From my first post, she just bought the car and the PO told her that he took it to the dealer to get it switched to summer mode. Since there isn't such a thing--I started to dig into things.

I removed the plastic cowl panel and noticed the metal wire was off of the end of the flap--I reattached it. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM? Did it fall since she took it to the dealer 2 weeks ago? Or did the dealer just pull it off??????

Once reattached, I tried the ACC and it blew room temp air. Maybe it just needs a freon charge and the dealer was trying to milk my sister (she knows nothing about cars).

I did the self-test and it came up with one fault code--how do I figure out what that fault is?

So, what should my next step be??
