Remote Entry

My remote entry for my 94 9000 Aero does not work after the car is sitting overnight (6-7 hrs. outside). This has been happening (three times) off-and-on over the past three weeks. After driving to work (about 15 miles) in the morning, then the remote works fine. It works throughout the day fine, too.
What gives?
I had installed a new battery 2 months ago.
Thanks in advance.
