That is what I thought is the problem, thinking that is has to be in a certain position when installed because of the flaps on the side. Looking in the cylinder, it's all smooth, so it doesn't matter how it goes in. Now I'm really off.
While messing around, tried the "insert the screw driver into the antenna cable method"(some previous posts sugested) and no luck, which doesn't nececerely means bad cable, right?
Is not that I listen that often to the radio, but if I knew the sh*t won't work I wouldn't of paid for the mast or invested the time in fixing it, oh wait it's not fixed. Sorry for the frustration, don't like to fail when fixing something.
