Decided to take a time out. Went off to harbor freight tools (i love that place) to see if i could find anything that might help get the tie rods off the car.
Ended up with a tie rod puller, a few differnt wrenches, and some crc brand stuff that is supposed to uncease bolts.
Soaked it a lot, and used the 12" long wrench and it came off, tough but came off. Interesting the inner bolts did not budge at all. The other trick is to break the bolts that connect to the wheel, but not take them off so you can use the bolt as some leverage. (or put them back on if you took them off first like i did)
gonna go out and test, not sure how much i mucked up my alignment with all that banging etc. I'll be getting it aligned early in the week i hope.
incidentally, anyone know the torque spec for the bolts?
