Enter your car data, look at "Cooling System" and there will be several different radiators with varying applicability ranges. Not all SAAB 9000 radiators will fit your car, and 1994 (I also have one) was a transition year where they moved the fan sensor out of the radiator mid-year. If your car has the sensor in the radiator, the replacement must also have it.

I'm not sure about the acid bath approach for plastic/aluminum radiators, but my guess is that this may be a waste of time and money. The plastic of the end tanks breaks down over heat and time (particularly where the upper hose attaches) and the rubber (?) seal between the channels and the end tanks also decays. New radiators are cheap enough that you may just want to replace the old one - the OEM part is remarkably well priced.
