Hey Mark, You are right about Chris. He's a heck of a nice guy and a fair dealer. He had a TON of 900 parts and parts cars as well, for those interested.

Regarding the safety aspect: I just got back from watching rescue crews work a two-car accident that took place within 200 yards of my house. A van broadsided a Blazer that had run a light and got flipped on its side. The wrecker on scene is an aquaintance and we got talking about autos and safety. I related your story to him and he told me that two years ago, he was called to get a Saab 9000 out of some trees at an accident site. The car had left the roadway (driver fell asleep) and it rocketed off an embankment into the woods, wedging itself into the trees about 7 feet off the ground. The front and rear of the car were just locked into a twisted mess around the wood, but the driver had opened the door and lowered himself to the ground with the seatbelt strap?! Nothing more than a few scrapes and bruises. Moral of the story, I am glad that I am driving a Saab as my primary vehicle.
