Just a long winding road in testing the obvious problem spots and replacing the cheap stuff and then bite the bullet and go for the expensive stuff and maybe hire a Saab professional with the right knowledge and scan tools.
I know that most people want to be able to wave the magic wand one time over the car and fix all problems but it doens't work that way most of the times.
It is a myriad of different scenarios in how the TCS system will act or act up and it could be related to the same failing part or not being calibrated.
What did the bleeder valve on the false fire wall read in resistance when you checked it. The car has to be as hot as possible when testing the resistance. Is it the valve with part of the body being blue in color.
Yes, it could be enough to do just a recalibration of the system. I couldn't say until it is checked out and all fault codes read.
