and I'm very impressed indeed, though I'm still breaking them in. Steering response is better than on the Goodyear F1 GS-D3s and they seem pretty much as comfortable at the same pressure (36½ psi). Might try reducing this back to 35 now I'm not trying to compensate for the Goodyears' floppy sidewalls.

I experienced a little more understeer than I liked after putting on the Saab sports suspension and various new bushes, but I think the problem was probably that the front tyres were worn down to 2mm with 5mm left on the rears. The point is that I've worn out not one but two fronts sets of F1s while still having half the tread left on the original rears! Will be very interested to see how the Bridgestones wear.

By the way, I hung onto both the two rear Firestones (one on the spare rim, one in the garage) to hedge my bets.
