which is basically a plus-size up from stock for the '98. I have 225/50-16's and can say there is a HUGE noticeable difference in handling. I actually had to re-learn how to steer the car since just touching the steering wheel would cause the car to turn in that direction.
As for looks, you do notice that they are somewhat wider and fill the wheelwell much better than stock 215/55-16.
The size I have is about as big as you can go on the Aero 16" rims.
