I just replaced mine less than a week ago.
I only ordered 3yds (plenty of material) because I was not planning on redoing any of the pillars.
With three yards (whether or not I got exactly that, I do not know) I ended up w/ 3ft7in of material left (w/ the 54in width) You could easily do both of the front pillars w/ that.
I think all you would need is 4yds.
I got my material from: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/yourautotrim-store/auothead.html
It cost me somewhere around 40 dollars w/ shipping.
I bought 2 cans of 3M Super Trim Adhesive which was also plenty. Which was expensive at 15 dollars/can at carquest (probibly could have found it cheaper elsewhere...)
I also changed my metal sunroof (in my 91 9000T) to glass. I decided to go the route of just replacing the WHOLE thing. (since I have an 88 parts car) After the headliner is out, it is relatively easy to unbolt and it just falls down. The board in mine was good, so I didnt have a need to replace or reupholster that.
The color matches VERY well.. I may take a pic of it in the next day in panoramic view to you can see the whole thing installed....
