I agree with Noel, especially on the DI cassette. They tend to fail suddenly and leave you stranded. The same thing goes for the serpentine belt and its idler pully. Everything else should be regular maintenance and probably won't leave you by the side of the road. It's always a good idea to keep tabs on the condition of your cooling system components and exhaust system.
As for the cool running engine, I would check your thermostat and the temperature gauge sensor. Checking the thermostat will give you an opportunity to assess the condition of the radiator and radiator hoses. The temperature gauge sensor is to blame if the gauge itself moves very little even when the car should get hot (i.e. if you're stuck in traffic). The sender is about $15.00 from eEuroparts and is easy to replace. Best of luck!
