After a couple of years searching I just bought what may be my last Saab (two 99s, three 900Ts, two 9000s). I wanted the 1998CSE because it was the last year of the model. I found a silver auto CSE with 68k. I've changed to Poly bushings front and rear, changed oil and ATF to Mobil 1, PBR Deluxe brake pads, K&N filter in the stock airbox, and a stainless cat-back exhaust from Swedish Dynamics. I'd like to add a 3" downpipe and remap the ECU, but I want to bolt-up, not "cob" pieces together. Does anyone make a 3" downpipe that incorporates the second O2 sensor boss, legal cat, and mating flange to the catback? The JT3 systems I see on line do not appear to be flanged, nor do they indicate the 2nd O2 sensor. Do I need to change to an open filter, vice the K&N that I have? Is 3" intake plumbing desired? Also, the BB threads seem to indicate that MAPTUN is a better (smoother) ECU map than SQR. Any comment? Thanks
