be worth it.
fortunately, my AC is working now, I just lose the cool over the course of a few weeks. if I fix this leak, and still have another, hopefully I can go for months at a time.
over two years ago my 92 AC stopped working. I had it recharged and they told me it had a leak. It was cool here in Miami for over a year when it started to be less cool, so I had it charged (told me it had a leak again) and it worked great again for over a year until the hose finally sprung a large leak recently.
i feel for you. That's where i'm at with my 90 9000. When I bought it, the prior owner had just put in a new compressor, and NO AC still. He gave up because the next part recommended was going to be more hundreds.... Trouble is, I'm not sure what that part was, and at $1000 for the car, didn't want to invest any $ to find out.
good luck
aaron
