If you have the "oil can"
symbol that lights up when you turn the
key that's oil pressure.
If you do not then I think that the
check oil light is both level and pressure.
IF IT is oil pressure - you don't want to do much driving on it
until you get it sorted out. First I'd check your connection
to the oil pressure sensor. It is a small protrusion with a wire
out of it on top of the oil filter housing.
It could very well be that your sensor is going too -
they don't last forever. A new one is cheap, and search
under "oil pressure how to" for a writeup I did on changing it.
If it's not ust the switch then your oil pump could be going bad,
that's not too bad a job if you have some experience - see quasimotors for a write up on that.
