The fuel pump is located under the trunk floor. Take a look at the panel covering the spare tire. Just forward of the hinge portion there are two small holes. There are screws in those holes (torx bits). Undo the screws, and you can pull the cover back and out.
Right up by the back seats you'll see an oval metal plate with two star drive bolts, and a cable coming out. Turn the bolts 1/4 turn CCW and carefully remove the plate - Under it you'll see the top of the fuel tank, with a plastic cover (like a tupperware cover) on top with the cable coming out. Pop that off, and you'll see the fuel pump.
The pump is an assembly. Inside there is the main fuel pump and the pre-pump, along with the fuel level sender.
