Just as you say, Abusot, remove pinch bolt and the three bolts attached to the control arm.
Sometimes it can be a real bear getting the ball joint out of the pinch joint, so I recommend you keep everything in order in case you decide to reassemble things and take it to a pro. You mainly don't want to force things and end up with a broken steering spindle.
On the other hand, don't be afraid to get a stout prybar into the pinch joint and pry a bit to open it up. Also, prepare ahead of time with ample penetrant to get things moving. You can even afford to pry a bit on the top of the ball joint, against the CV joint, but obviously be careful here.
I've had about 50% of the ball joints over the years that I chose to give up on rather than break something. Sometimes, though, it's a real cinch.
Glad my rear-axle-related scenario appears to be out.
