You have more than one problem, sorry to say... Posted by turrbo [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Saab 9000 cs door locks etc... (Ari are you out there?), Richard S, Sun, 4 Sep 2005 05:55:36 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Try cleaning or replacing the drivers door plunger switch...that may clear up the issue of the locks popping back up. Since the pictogram shows that the door is open and the locks pop back up, it could be the switch. If the door is slightly open and you try to lock it, it unlocks like its doing for you.
No idea about why the pictogram lights up for the trunk in reverse. Again, maybe the plunger switch is off in the trunk, or the hatch is aligned too high up? Maybe the force of going into reverse is just enough to lift the hatch enough to set off the switch if its misaligned or the switch is dying.
The headlight issue sounds like a relay of some sort, and the flashers could be the switch itself or a relay. Do some searches here on the BB for "headlight relay" and "flashers" and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
