So I'm enjoying my third month with my first turbo, a 1998 CSE 5 spd. I finally gave up the '91 normally exasperated at 305K miles. Gave it to my neighbor, he is fixing it up now for his kid.
So my exhaust is getting noisey and needs replacement. Being here in Roadsaltachusetts, I want to give up on steel exhaust systems. I'm tired of replacing them every two years. So here is what I want:
1) Stainless steel system (cat back to start?)
2) Sportier exhaust note would be nice but not obnoxious!
3) The dang thing fits OK and doesn't bang around or require tedious mods
4) Of course cheap is good but I'll bite the bullet for quality
5) I want a system that's compatible with performance mods: 2.5" or 3" ?
6) It has to be available!
I've been searching the board and have found SS systems from Group 9, Abbott and Saabsaivor.com.
What do you think? Any others I should be looking at?
