The size was correct (from eEuroparts). It looked like the boots were attached correctly, so I don't imagine there will be any problems in that department.
The axle was rebuilt by a company called AAT. It did ship with a locknut and the inner grease. The one thing that I was not 100% happy with and makes sense, but seems to disprove the "new" CV joint theory in this case, was that the CV joint was definitely not new. You could see various marks on it that were indicative of it being used before and then cleaned. There were even small traces of packed dirt (easily cleaned off with a screwdriver and Qtip_ on the splines of the joint.
Regardless, I didn't have the time available to send it back and get another one, so I installed it in the '93 Aero and it works very well.
For the time I saved not having to deal with the disassembly of the CV joint itself, the rebuilt axle is the way to go.
