If you look at the connector for the low beam socket and the high beam bulb, you'll notice a small difference. There are 2 small ridges inside the bulb socket, and only one channel on the connector in the car. In order for the connector to fit into the socket on the bulb you'll have to file out the two small ridges. I used a dremel and just ground them out, although you might be able to do it with hand tools.
