yes, a new OEM motor I got last october, put in over the summer, and lived with thru the summer, thru a new $104 controller, and much thought/testing....
I just tested the resistance in this new motor vs. the old motor in my 92 9000 which works fine. there's 1/10th the resistance in the new slow motor vs. the old good motor, which, from what my father and a friend told me, means there's a likely short in the new motor and i'm not using all the windings...
i contacting swedishparts.net and since it's been a year since i ordered it, they're sending me a new one for the $35 core charge (free shipping both ways) instead of completely for free.
fair enough, I just wish I had tested it when it first arrived (sigh).
Now I get to do the job over again.
sometimes i wonder if i'm imagining things, but it's got to be 1/2 the speed of the one in my 92, and my old motor in my 93 blew so hard i had to turn it down all the time because it froze my face. this one i have to close the passenger vents to get a decent stream on my face, and that doesn't really cool the car, just my face. so, i'm not imagining, right?
will let all know how it turns out.
