The fact that you mention you have full-on boost when the engine is cold, and then lose it when it's warm, makes me think it could be O2 sensor related. The ECU does not use the O2 sensor when the engine is cold (hence why the sensor has a pre-heater, to get it up to temp quickly), so it could be a sign that your O2 sensor is dying. It could also be vacuum hose related, since miniscule pinholes in any vacuum line grow bigger when everything warms up.
As for the PCV valve, it should only flow air from the crankcase towards the intake manifold. If it does it both ways, it's shot.
I replaced the grommet under the PCV double-nipple coming out of the crankcase, but not the double-nipple attachment itself. There should be no need to do that unless it's cracked. The grommet was leaking oil and not allowing the double-nipple attachment to seat tightly. I purchased the grommet from eeuroparts.
