There should not be a problem. Car radios have to be designed to operate over at least that range and to handle voltage spikes as well. The power supply should have have a smoothed DC output. A power supply that simply rectifies the AC, such as a battery charger, would overwhelm any filter in the radio's power supply and produce a lot of hum.
