ago. It took him 8 months to get it to me. I was kinda upset because they didn't tell me about the backorder before taking my CC number. After several months of them telling me that they should get it anyday...I wrote it off, then one day they just showed up out of the blue.
They are basically the exact same setup from the factory aero. Aero springs front and rear...and Sachs shocks/struts. I have a 9000CD turbo with original springs/struts/nivomats. If I didn't have to get a set of springs for the rear...I would have gone with bilstiens and kept the original springs. It just turned out for me that with elimination of the nivomats meant kit pricing was better than new struts for the front and shocks and springs for the rear.
I guess another nice thing is the kit meant that I didn't have to buy strut bearings or use my spring compressors. Installation was a breeze.
Like I said, if you don't have to eliminate nivomats, the shocks and struts in the kit are nothing extraordinary. Simply factory Aero setup. You could probably buy the parts seperately for a little more than the kit price, but without the $ for new springs, you can upgrade your shocks and struts.
