I don't think engine movement or bad mount can cause the radiator hose to tear apart from its connections. The hose is at least three feet long. It is probably the most flexible connection out of the engine. Bad hose clamp or improper instaalation would be my guess.
To give you an example, last month I had the lower hose (the one below the upper and goes into the heater core) leaking at the clamp on wife's 94 cs turbo. I had to leave for a few weeks for business so I simply cut the hose short at the crack and reconnected it. It was a last ditch measure before I went out of town. It held. After coming back I found the replacement hose I removed from my wrecked 94cs in the attic of the garage. But I was too busy doing my other project and it held so I figure I let it be. Wife is commuting three miles from home everyday anyway. I'll replace it when I more time.
