We just had 5-6" of wet snow and I got to compare my 89s with 185/65 worn Hakka 1s last night and my 88T with decent 195/60 WRs this morning. The 185s do seem to cut through better, but they were both ok. As Ari says, you need to put your priorities on a sliding scale and decide. That said I don't personally like 205 snows on 3000-3500 lb vehicles.
