if you hear the 'buzz' right away, as you turn the key through 'on', trionic is beginning to wake up the fuel pump. If not ... read on.
When I didn't hear the buzz, coincident with longer cranking times [and an occasional failed first start attempt] on my 97 Aero and 97 CSE, I replaced the fuel pump relay. Each time the problem went away immediately.
Of course, if you do hear the 'buzz' right away, this isn't the problem.
Sincerely,
John
