...NOW I remember your car. Yeah, Just Saab was totally incompetent in terms of the servicing they did on my '93 Aero with the previous owner. For example: Windows are fogging even when running blower on full. Did they replace the heater core? NO! They replaced... the AC Compressor. For example, had to replace the head gasket. Did they do the chains while they were in there, especially when the owner was prodding them to consider doing it? NO! (And the chains, thanks to the original soft balance chain lower sprocket, are suspect in the '93s.)
So, you like the Mazda3? Occasionally, I watch them driving down the road and wonder. But I'm afraid to let myself drive ANYthing else, lest I start craving the new car, which leads to... the MONTHLY PAYMENT. But I still say I'd seriously consider a used Acura TSX 6 speed. Small, economical, ALWAYS top-rated, great resale value, and, of course, WAY cheap to run.
