Easy job. Really all you have to do is run the wires for the amplifier.
You'll have to run the power (wire gage depends upon the system power) from the car batter to the trunk. In my 88 I ran power along the driver's side of the car, under the plastic mouldings along each door, under the carpet by the back seat and into the trunk.
Ground...you can ground to a spot near where the power antenna is mounted.
Remote turn on lead...just find the wire that supplies power to the antenna (unsure of the color). Since the antenna is up whenever the stereo is on, this works perfectly and saves you the trouble of having to run another wire to the front of the car.
RCA/signal cable...run these on the opposite side of the car from the power wires to eliminate interference.
As for wiring the subwoofer to the amplifier, it all depends upon what kind of sub/amp combination you have. The amplifier power, stability, and impedance (single or dual voice coils) all determine how you wire the sub to the amp.
Any other questions feel free to ask.
