They may skip those steps. The cooling system needs to be flushed out of any traces of ATF, and the tranny needs to be flushed and filled to remove any traces of coolant. I was lucky in the fact that coolant had not made it into the tranny, so I only needed to drain what was in there (for security) and then re-fill. However, the cooling system was full of ATF.
Unfortunately, you're going to be tagged with a much higher price for the rad than if you were to buy it yourself from a site sponsor.
And I know all about the chores. I've got umpteen # of soccer games, b-day parties, and various kid things to do this weekend, in addition to winterizing the house and fixing up two apartments in a rental building I own. This doesn't even account for the problems I'm having with the 9K developing engine shudder recently and my 900 convertible with a big tear in the top just below the rear window that allows water to rush in when it rains. Oy vey!!!!!!!
