Wonder how long it would take to hammer out using the hand tools-
If someone made a hydraulic version, that'd be the ticket. I've got the hand tools for rounding out pipes, not flaring. Not easy just getting them stretched out by hand.
Watching the real deal at the muffler shops, the pipes look like putty in their hands; nothing like hydraulics.

Just did what I figured would be an easy bolt on exhaust replacement on my 93, having purchased both the center and rear muffler sections.

Things going the way they usually go, it wasn't a simple bolt off bolt on. The old nuts and studs became one with the universe, and I had to take my muffler cutter to them to take them off from the cat back.
Then, since my rear muffler was corroded where the pipe exits, I figured instead of having to do the same to the center/rear bolt on section, I'd just muffler cutterize the pipe off right at the center muffler.

Fine, did that, but then couldn't remove the rear muffler assembly with part of the center muffler section still attached.
Again with the muffler cutter to detach the two, and now everything was off.

Now it would have been bolt on, but for the simple fact that they had to use those damned studs, so the catalytic section still had the useless ones poking out. Had to take my big vise to grip the flange for some inertia and whack-a-mole the studs until they finally released their death grip. Used a regular bolt and nut setup instead of the studs. So it requires holding the back while tightening, big deal. Rather do that than have to deal with the studs again.
Only then was it a bolt on. Even exhaust work that should be easy in concept can be a big pain when you factor in corrosion, and stuff flying everywhere while laying underneath.
