I had a similar problem, also recently, also 97 Aero (120K miles). Was the tranny mount causing the shudder(see previos post about my tranny mount mod), but it could be any mount. I would try a few cursory things as well. Reset your car's computer (the weather is changing and so some of it's learned values related to air density are too). Clean out your BPC with some penetrant and shake it dry. How old is your air-filter? If it's more than 10,000 switch it. Your car is so smart it will overcompensate for poor air intake. All of these things can be done in half an hour to 45 minutes at an easy pace. I doubt base boost would have changed, but like previosly mentioned, do not rule out a shot wastegate actuator. Before changine anything mechanical, though, it never hurts to "reboot" the car's computer.
