Axle bracket cracked

I finally had time to push the car in the barn, get it up on stands and take it apart (Last sunday it went suddenly, I thought at first it was the transmission).

The axle bracket that holds the center axle tube in place on the right hand side cracked clean across. That let the cup and tripod get at enough of an angle for the tripod to chew its way out of the cup, that's how the axle came out. The axle itself actually looks fine (not that I won't change at least the tripod end) but the cup of course is a mess and there is grease all over the place. It looks like it went all at once.

I guess I'm in for a new bracket and associated bearing assembly and tripod or rebuilt axle. I might go ahead and change the transmission now and put in the brand new one in, I have it anyway and its smarter to change it before anything happens to the old one that lets junk spread throughout the circuit. It looks like it will take a few weekends.

Is that bracket cheap enough to get a new one or am I looking at used?
