Hello fellow Saabers,
I just bought 88, 9000 turbo. The price was $ 600 and the car has only 35000 miles .
It was used only during the summer and rest of the time - except the last year and a half spent in the garage. Last time was driven in February 2005 to get inspected. Basically everything is working fine except couple of things on which I need your advice:
Blower fan is not working - I’ am going get into it, following advice from this board Quasi, and Brian.
Tranny is working fine but is very difficult to move shifter back to 3-1
Sunroof need some pushing on the beginning of opening and closing -I hope needs some cleaning and lubricant.
Radio is not working - key and band tricks don’t work , fuses ok ( power antenna is working)
Trip computer display is very dimm - I’ve replaced the phototransistor but it didn't help.
Seat belts warning light and engine compartment lights is not working - bulbs are ok.
What is the best way to cleanup an condition leather sets?
Oil was changed to synthetic.
Other that what else should I do or check to avoid potential problems ?
