could be the new t/o bearing rubbing on the fingers?
when you took the old one off, was it worn smooth by the fingers?
did you replace with OEM slave?
when I had replaced my slave with aftermarket slave, and it failed, and I took it off and did job over again, I noticed that the holes for the 3 torx screws were slighly oversized and I suspected there might have been some movement or off-centering when I put it all together, which might have caused my t/o bearing noise when it rubbed on the fingers.
if i held the clutch in a little bit at the point at which I heard the t/o bearing rubbing on fingers, eventually it would quiet and go away.
when i re-did job with OEM slave, there was no noise.
only thing I can share, not sure if it's helpful or related.
