Replaced my blower motor this morning (1 3/4 hours thanks to Shawn and Quasi!!) On check drive, my temp guage rose rapidly, check radiator light came on, overflow res was overflowing through the cap and lower tank hose. Fluid level was low (it was fine before the blower motor replacement - yes I unhooked the heater core hoses -
I replaced the missing coolant. Ran the heater on max back home and temp guage was right below red. Back to driveway, looking things over to make sure I didn't pinch wires somewhere, etc. Everything fine. Engine on, temp guage is at about 9 o'clock position. After a few minutes and 2k - 2500 rpm, guage quickly creeps back to red zone.
Ideas??
Sorry for length of submission, but wanted to provide as much info as possible. :-)
Thanks for any help!
