if it snapped it didn't move! you should soak the crap out of the bleeders before attempt to move them...and when they do snape there is NOTHING to do...
I actually had a recently rebuild caliper that snapped. I REFUSED to get another rebuilt so I simply drilled it out, below out the orafice from the piston side and bought a 99 cent new screw from NAPA...
Of course the local machine shop told me I was crazy as the line was most likly contaminated by me drilling out the tap.
If you feel not compelled to remove your caliper at this time and get the system bled then you are most likly ok to drive.
simple test. drive around the block. if you see fluid around the bleeder, you've got a leak!
FYI...if you bleeder screws don't want to come out then removing the hose from the caliper is going to be very difficult too. make sure you use penatrating oil prior to the procedure and don't be afraid to apply a little heat to the screw. they are disimilar metals (brass for the screw) and like to stick together...
