Hello folks. Looking for some advice. My 97 9000 auto has 118,000km's on her. I'm wanting to bring the servicing up-to-date. My mech has suggested that i change the timing chain...he said 14 or 15 hrs labour for a total price of around $1500. Is this realistic? When should it be changed?
Also, what other items should i consider at 118,000km's? I've decided not to fall into the trap and buy a new car, so, i really need to bring mine up to snuff.
BTW...i tested a 9-2x last week, was all excited to get in......it's definitely not a saab.
