Heater Core & blower motor

All,
I have a 1995 Saab 9000. I have a leaky heater core. Since the heater core needs to be replaced, I thought it might make sense to replace the blower motor as well. The mechanic (he is usually good) is saying that it is ~6hrs job. Would that be a true statement?
Just curious and any advice/suggestion will be helpful
cheers,
Sachin
