ACC unit failure followup

Here is where I am at with this problem (see my posting from a few days ago). Fuse 1 & fuse 17 are fine. I checked power to the pins. My pin numbering is a little different than some have suggested. Maybe because my car came from Canada. I have power to an unmarked pin just below pin #1. It is a larger wire than the rest, so I am assuming it is the main power. I also have power to a pin marked #31. The power to this pin goes off when I take the key out of the ignition and also dims when I lower the dashboard dimmer light switch. To me it seems as if I am getting power to the ACC unit fine, but I may be wrong. At this point I am guessing that the ACC unit just went bad and it is only a coincidence that it happened while it was at the shop. The temperature around here did drop about 20 degrees while it was in the shop, so maybe that drastic temperature change coused some of the internal wiring in the ACC unit to contract and loose connection. Stranger things have happened. Please let me know if anyone else thinks it may be a different problem. In my earlier post, Nathan said he has an ACC unit he could hook me up with, but I couldn't figure out how to e-mail him. Nathan, if you are out there, please e-mail me. I am currently bidding on one on ebay, but it wouldn't hurt to have a spare in the event that I win the auction.
Thanks, Tim
