But I know the 9K is very hard to wire for a remote starter. You didn't say what year/model you have, but the newer models with alarm and immobilizer take a lot of work to do. My car was in the shop for quite a long time (few days) having it done.
If your car is older/no alarm/no immobilzer, it may be easier.
