CS and CSE refer to trim levels and engines. Sometimes. The difference varies from year to year, and the option sheet.
In GENERAL, the CS comes as a more base model, with a lower power engine. The CSE has more goodies standard, and the more powerful engine. But depending on the year and market, you can option up a CS to look a lot like a CSE. CS can come with a non-turbo engine (like a '93), a low pressure turbo, or a 'super CS'. And that doesn't keep someone from modifying a LPT to a FPT.
I've seen (US market) CS with fabric seats, plain dash, no sunroof and manual seats. I've seen CS with leather, power seats, fancy dash, and a moonroof. It all depends on the year, and what the original owner did on the option sheet.
Other differences are which radio it comes with, etc. If you look at a CSE, you can be pretty sure it comes with most everything. If it's a CS, every car is different.
